Cave B Estate Winery

What is Cave B? A premium winery situated on the beautiful cliffs above the Columbia River near George, in Eastern Washington. There, from land sites carefully chosen for their individual grape varietal growing attributes, only the very best fruit is hand selected for Cave B’s winemaking. The fundamental guiding principle is that every decision in the viticultural and winemaking process is determined by those practices resulting in the very highest quality fruit and wines. For the visitor, the Cave B experience is made complete by the natural grandeur of the surrounding environment and the excitement of being part of something special which permeates the hearts and minds of all who work and visit there. Cave B is situated just minutes off of I-90 at Exit 143 and State Highway 281.

Hours
Winter Tasting Room hours are 11:00AM to 5:30PM everyday or by appointment.  Spring and Summer hours are 11:00AM-5:30PM Sunday through Thursday and 11:00AM - 7:00PM Friday and Saturday or by appointment.  $5 tasting fee. Tours and special events are welcome - including private parties, reunions and weddings.

Acreage and Production
With over 120 acres of vineyard, some of which has 20 year old vines, Cave B is able to select only the best fruit for its limited production wines. Not only are the best lots selected each year, but grapes are hand picked in multiple harvests for optimal ripeness. These clusters are then hand sorted for the best grapes for winemaking. Cave B Estate's award winning wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Semillon and Chardonnay. At Cave B these premium wines are elevated by the superlative surroundings, making any visit a special occasion.
