Martin-Scott Winery

Our wines include:

WHITE WINES

2006 Chardonnay.  This popular wine has been fermented half in stainless steel and half in new french oak barrels to create a blend that enhances the fruit, but lets you discover the best that oak offers: vanilla, subtile tannins. We put it through a secondary malolactic fermentation that adds a smooth overall mouth feel.

2005 Pinot Gregio - (Columbia Valley, Estate) Lush tropical fruit mingling between lemon, melons, mangos intermixed with honeysuckle.  Slight minerality and acidity completes the package.

2006 Appleblock Riesling - (Columbia Valley, Estate).Floral aromas open up to Bosc pear and granny smith apples with a lush slight apricot finish.

2006 Viognier - (Columbia Valley)Rich aroma of sweet apricots mixed with orange blossoms and honey. Hints of guava, tangerine and anise.

2005 Gewurztraminer - (Columbia Valley - Estate). First vintage of our very own estate grown Gewurztraminer from "Graces vinyard", named after our granddaughter.  Citrus aromas with a dash of spice.

To be released mid-summer:  2006 Pinot Gregio, 2006 Gewurtztraminer.

RED WINES

2004 Reserve Syrah: (Columbia Valley,Wahluke Slope, estate).  Dark red wine. Black berries with warm and inviting taste of oak, vanilla and molasses. A touch of white pepper and anise finish. 3% Grenache. Only a few cases left of this wine. ($20.00)

2004 Raven Ridge Red: (Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope). Our trademark wine named after the Ravens that float on the currents created by the updraft of the Columbia River situated directly below the winery. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (59%) and Syrah (41%). This wine received an "OUTSTANDING" rating in Wine Press NW, Spring 2007. ($19.00)

2004 Merlot: (Columbia Valley, Wahluke Slope).  Ruby red color with cedary-oak highlighting a creamy vanilla note.  Cherry, red raspberry flavors. An alcohol content of 16.6% allows this wine to stand up with the big boys.
