Tsillan Cellars is the crown jewel of the youthful, vibrant and rapidly growing Lake Chelan wine tourism scene.

Tsillan Cellars,an Italian country retreat recreated on the gently sloping shores of Lake Chelan, offering a destination experience unique in the entire country. The winery was designed and developed by Dr. Robert Jankelson to provide an unmatched venue to enjoy the Italian art of living enhanced by fine wines.

Three breathtaking waterfalls form an amphitheater backdrop for the performance island. Natural stone bridges, expansive natural slate terrazzos and walks, Tuscan stone columns, a 35 foot bell tower with a 650 pound cast bronze bell, landscaped rockeries and gardens overlook Lake Chelan and the Cascade Mountains to complement the carefully reproduced Tuscan winery.

The winery name is taken from a 19th century explorer who, upon hearing the native word for the lake, mapped it as "Tsillan" (meaning deep water) but pronounced "Chelan."
